Harry Cook, Ph.D
Dr. Harry Cook, Ph.D received his doctorate in geology from the University
of California at Berkeley. Since that time, Dr. Cook has held the
position of Research Geologist with the United States Geological Survey
(the “USGS”) in the department of Energy and Mineral Resources.
He also held the position of Chief carbonate geologist for the USGS’s
Metallogeny of the Great Basin Project, focusing on sediment-hosted
disseminated gold mineralization. He has also conducted numerous field
studies and core analyses in the Great Basin with Major mining companies
such as Newmont Exploration Ltd., Barrick Gold Corp., and Placer Dome
Exploration Inc., as well as a number of Junior exploration companies.
Dr. Cook has over 35 years of experience lecturing and conducting
energy and mineral studies, applying carbonate geology predictive
exploration and development models to petroleum and precious metal
exploration, identifying host rocks in carbonate rocks of the Great
Basin, Mexico, Canada, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
Eric Saderholm
Mr. Eric Saderholm has over 25 years of experience in the minerals
industry with leadership in exploration, project development, property
management and mining. He has been integral to geologic teams that
added over 18 million ounces of gold to reserve bases in Nevada, Washington
and Peru. Mr. Saderholm was Vice President, Project Development at
US Gold from August 2006 until early 2008. Prior to that position,
he was at Newmont Mining Corp for 10 years where his final position
was Carlin Trend Exploration Manager, Regional Geologist. At Newmont,
he also held the positions of Chief Geologist at the Phoenix Mine,
Lone Tree Complex and Mule Canyon Mine, all located in Nevada as well
as Project Manager, Grupo Carachugo, Peru. Mr. Saderholm is co-founder
of Sirius Exploration Corp.
Terry White
Mr. Terry White has over 20 years of proven and progressive experience
as a mining and exploration geophysicist with an emphasis on applying
science and leading edge technology to find commercial grade gold
deposits. His experience extends to the design, implementation and
supervision of surveys, as well as, data interpretation for gold,
copper, uranium, molybdenum and other mineralization. Terry is adept
at using and interpreting data from a broad spectrum of geophysical
techniques, including VLF, magnetic, gravity, seismic, IP Resistivity,
ground and airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys. His exploration
and development work has been focused in North America, with particular
emphasis in Mexico, the Great Basin, and Alaska. Terry is recognized
for his history of success in collaring high-grade ore and hitting
a good percentage of drill recommendations.
Howard Stevenson, MBA
Mr. Howard Stevenson, MBA has 20 years of experience in mineral economics,
financial evaluation and merger and acquisition, 18 years of which
were spent with Gold Fields of South Africa working on projects around
the world. Mr. Stevenson began as an engineer with Gencor, then after
two and half years joined Gold Fields in the Mineral Economics Division,
which was a unique multi-disciplinary team of mining investment analysts
that undertook all the financial and economic analysis related to
Gold Fields' strategic business decisions. Mr. Stevenson also transitioned
to International Acquisitions Manager for the new Gold Fields Ltd.
then Vice President, Business Development for Gold Fields Exploration
Inc. in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Stevenson later became Managing Director
of Gold Fields Finland Oy and General Manager of the Arctic Platinum
project for four years, then returned to Denver as Vice President
of Corporate Development for Gold Fields Limited. When Gold Fields
acquired Bolivar Gold Corporation in March 2006, Mr. Stevenson was
appointed Vice President, Venezuelan Operations. After one year running
Gold Fields’ Venezuelan operations Mr. Stevenson joined Meridian
Gold Company as Vice President of Business Development until its merger
with Yamana Gold. |
